In February 2018 the Snowy Mountai ns will come alive with more off road and on road action which this year w ill also include a new event to the TreX series with the Australian Aquath lon Championships and the Snowies Ultra Trail Run.
\nLocated in the heart of Australia’s High County\, and starting at an altitude of 1100m wi th Australia’s highest peak\, Mt Kosciusko as the backdrop\, the courses w ill both delight and challenge athletes of all levels.
\nTre X XTri: The XTri course includes some of the best fast and flowin g single track mountain bike trails\, and gritty off road running trails f ound anywhere in Australia and includes a standard distance\, sprint\, jun ior\, dirt kids\, duathlon and aquabike courses.
\nTreX On R oad Aquathlon: The aquathlon is an on road event that takes place in beautiful Lake Crackenback resort and includes standard\, sprint\, ju nior\, teaser and dirt kids events.
\nSnowies Ultra Trail Ru n: This ultimate trail running festival takes in some of the most spectacular running trails in Australia including the 50k Ultra which inc ludes a 530m ascent and descent along the spectacular Thredbo Valley. The 50k Ultra is also accompanied by the Half Marathon\, 12k & 5k trail runs as well as a FREE Kids Mud Rats run.
